The Hunger Games

This is a really good book. The way the writer sets up the characters so that they do something at the last moment that you would never expect, but then you think that it could never be anything else. This is the best book, the characters express the most emotions in this book, and the last book is rubbish. My favorite part of the book is when katniss attaches the wire to the lightning tree and puts it in the water, killing the other opponents. I know that sounds gruesome, but the way the author writes it is is really descriptive and fun.

  1. Hi JOrdan -

At long last I can see these posts. I am glad that you have jumped the hurdle here. I liked The Hunger Games but I admit to being put off by the level of violence in the book. The idea of the book is so horrifying - that we would send our children to do public battle for government goods and services and that we would televise that fight and cheer for them and boo other CHILDREN. Wow.

Nice post, but work so that your posts get longer rater than shorter. Think about it as more of a review. What does it remind you of? How can you tell us how you feel about a book without major spoilers for your comment-writers?

    Thanks again for being persistent.
